Garden Update!

Tomorrow I have the day off. Legitimately (company holiday, for some strange reason).

Tomorrow I will update you on the status of my garden. It's growing, dying, making me glad and sad all at once.

Cucumbers have died (no thanks to the freeze we had last week for ONE day). Radishes, zucchini, beets and green onions have sprouted (and are adorb!). The kale is thriving. My herbs are struggling. Tomatoes and jalapeƱo seedlings inside are growing.

Pics coming tomorrow! (if it's sunny)

Are you growing a garden? If so, how's it going? What are you growing?

  1. We're growing a garden! Really, it's more than one. We have tomatoes, potatoes, peppers, eggplant (that's for me), basil, corn, onions, and our six blueberry bushes. They are all doing really well so far this year. But we have big plans for the yard. In the next few years, we plan on adding apple, pear, fig, blackberries, raspberries and more! Are you growing from seeds? We never had much luck with that except corn, green bean, and cantaloupe.

  2. Yup, all from seeds! I had some growing inside, but my transplanted cukes died in the frost before I could cover them up. Damned Kansas weather. I'm going to pull them tomorrow and replant just the seeds in the soil. Hopefully they live this time! About to post my update!

You'll have to post up photos of your garden. I remember looking through the ones from last year; it all looked so good!
