The weather here is doing its darnedest to evolve into winter. Yesterday, I drove to work in 20-degree weather. So. Flipping. Cold.
When the weather starts to change, I get the feeling that I want a new scarf. It's not that I don't already have 15 different scarves, and I'm not sure the cause of it besides aesthetics. And Monday evening, I decided it was high-time for a new scarf for my collection.
I chose this pattern for a cowl on Ravelry because it's simple and looked like I could make it in a short time period. I grabbed a leftover skein of Vanna's Choice from the Doctor Who scarf I made Philip last year and got to work.
Three hours later, this lovely cowl was mine :)
