Vegan MoFo, Day 13: My Recent Obsession

It's a good one to be obsessed with, let me tell you!

I've been making this savory popcorn for several weeks now and am sad to say that I've run out of smoked paprika (*mega sad face*).

Here's what you need to shove some in your face:

"Almost-Gourmet But Basic Recipe for Awesome Popcorn"
makes a huge bowl!

1/2 cup popcorn kernels
Melted Earth Balance (about 1/4 cup)
Pink Himalayan salt
Onion Powder
Smoked Paprika
1/4 cup nooch

If you have an awesome popcorn air popper, like we do (score at a garage sale unopened for $4 new, regularly like $25 at the store. So worth it), then add the 1/2 cup of kernels, and get it going. Meanwhile, melt the Earth Balance in the microwave.

Drizzle the melted Earth Balance over popcorn as it is coming out of the air popper into a large bowl. Once completely popped, sprinkle the salt, onion powder, smoked paprika, and nooch over popcorn, and toss popcorn in the bowl to distribute the goodies.

So simple. So tasty. So going straight to my thighs.

  1. I feel ya! I'm sitting here having a big bowl with coconut oil, nooch, garlic powder and smoked pap. It's an illness. I could eat this all day everyday!
